We are seeking personable servers to join our team.You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for ensuring our guests have memorable experiences. We are looking for candidates who are warm, calm under pressure, work with urgency throughout the shift, know how to be a team player and are passionate about food and service! Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet tables promptly
- Answer questions about menu items, wine and other offerings
- Gracefully upsell additional menu items, such as dessert and drinks
- Accurately take customer orders and input into POS system
- Memorize the menu for suggestions and questions about ingredients
- Guarantee compliance to cleanliness and COVID sanitation standards
- Effectively communicate with kitchen staff
- Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
- Daily side work to include restocking of items, polishing silverware, cleaning and sanitizing stations and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous wait staff experience preferred
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Familiarity with restaurant POS software a plus
- Ability to thrive in an active, noisy and demanding environment
- Must have reliable transportation
