ZONING, PERMITTING & INSPECTIONS

City of Blue Ridge: The City of Blue Ridge issues all land use and building permits to businesses locating within the city limits that are in accordance with city land use and zoning ordinances. To obtain a copy of the zoning and building ordinances, or to inquire about permits and inspections, contact Blue Ridge City Hall at 706-632-2091.

Cities of Morgantion and McCaysville / Fannin County: There is no zoning in the unincorporated areas of Fannin County, as well as the City of McCaysville and City of Morganton. If a business is locating in the unincorporated areas of Fannin County, the City of McCaysville, or the City of Morganton, it must comply with Fannin County land use and building ordinances. To obtain a copy of ordinances, or to inquire about permits and inspections, contact the Fannin County Land Development Office at 706-632-8361.
